Future Past will also be distributed via Projekt Records, CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody and all the usual online music sources, but the band wanted to make the album available to fans as soon as possible. As an independent band, it is difficult to schedule simultaneous release on all platforms, so those will be trickling in over the next few months. Without a doubt, this is the best album Lovespirals has put out. And that’s saying a lot. I can tell already that “Feel So Good” is going to wear a groove into my iTunes.
Listening to this album, I feel transported to a rainy night on Frenchman Street in New Orleans. It’s got an indy jazz band feeling going on in spades, but that feeling is reached by way of the dream-pop/downtempo/slow-and-sexy musicality that Lovespirals does so well.
Thanks to Ryan and Anji for sharing their talents with us and producing such an excellent album!
thanks so much for your kind words and blog post!!!
