Lovespirals Featured on Bite Sized Bonus
Lovespirals are the featured Artist of the Day for Bite Sized Bonus #507. GD interviews Anji about the new album, Long Way From Home, performing in Second Life, and more in this “members only” podcast. It is free to subscribe as a member.
You know when you get a tune stuck in your head? It seems to stay there all day, no matter what else you listen to, the same tune resurfaces and drives you to the point of insanity. Well I am well past the point of having any sanity left so I need not fear, but yesterday I had not one but two songs buzzing around my vacuous cranium. So much so that to try and exercise them out of my head I open today’s show with them. May they invade your every waking hum for the rest of the day.
A very special album of the week, as not only do I get to play the tracks but I have a lovely conversation with half of Lovespirals, Anji Bee. Listen in as we talk about their new album, the duos past, and performing in Second Life. And just what is it that I say that makes Anji giggle? You will have to listen to find out.

CC Chapman loves Anji
On the latest Accident Hash podcast, CC Chapman professed his love for me. Well, my voice, anyway. He said if I read a Chinese menu, he’d be ecstatic. Of course, he heard my infamous Adam Curry “love messaging” (as Adam recently referred to my audio feedback on Daily Source Code). Speaking of which, Dave of Dave’s Lounge teased me in his latest podcast, announcing me as “regular Daily Source Code flirt, Anji Bee.” Gee whiz! That Adam is just trying to get me in trouble, I swear.
Lovespirals on AMPed Podcast
Lovespirals song “Love Survives” is featured on the AMPed New Music Weekly podcast show #003 for the current week. The AMPed podcast was created to highlight some of the best indie tracks included in various music podcasts which are all joined together under the banner of “The Association of Music Podcasting.” Thus, “Love Survives” was selected from the Spelljamr podcast. You can subscribe to the show through the iTunes store or Odeo.
A really cool feature of the podcast is a special pulldown menu listing all the songs that will take you directly to the track of your choosing. Kind of funny is the fact that the AMPed host refers to us as “The Lovespirals” – hee hee!
Radio.Speljamr Podcast
The Association of Music Podcasting station, Radio.Speljamr, included 2 Lovespirals tracks in last week’s podcast — Episode No. 14 of Vol. 1 — as well as a shoutout I recorded for them. Additionally, host Tim Finucane talks about the Chillin’ with Lovespirals podcast. Check out Tim’s musical podcast at http://radio.speljamr.com.
Garageband Podcasts
I totally forgot to mention the other week that I’ve been checking out the new Garageband podcast feature! Right now they’re offering free bandwidth to members for podcasting, which is pretty cool. I uploaded the half hour Hungry Lucy Interview Feature as a test, so now you can check that out at any time of day you like, rather than waiting for it to come on Chillcuts. Now I’m editing down a Lovespirals/LSD feature to upload next. Stay tuned for more info on that. Here’s a link to my :[chillcuts]: Garageband podcast.
