The band’s new single “No Reply” finds Ryan and Anji Lum returning to the soulful, late-night side of their sound, blending chillout textures with dream pop atmosphere, warm female vocals, and a laid-back groove. Built around haunting piano, acoustic and electric guitar, shimmering electric layers, and subtle string machine textures, the song explores the quiet anxiety of modern communication breakdown. More upbeat than recent singles “Secrets” or “Gray,” it’s closer in spirit to 2024’s “Not Myself,” with a retro vocal downtempo feel.

Filmed along the remote, rocky coastline of Catalina Island, the music video features Anji’s lyrics unfolding over point-of-view hiking footage and wide cinematic shots of natural beauty, mirroring the song’s theme of isolation and missed communications, and echoing the refrain: “No answer, no reply.”
